| HAZWOER 40-hr Technician The Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard (HAZWOPER) applies to five distinct groups of employers and their employees. This includes any employees who are exposed or potentially exposed to hazardous substances -- including hazardous waste -- and who are engaged in anyone of the operations specified by 1910.120(a)(1)(i-v) and 1926.65(a)(1)(i-v). |

| HAZWOPER 24-hr Operations The Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard (HAZWOPER) applies to five distinct groups of employers and their employees. This includes any employees who are exposed or potentially exposed to hazardous substances -- including hazardous waste -- and who are engaged in anyone of the operations specified by 1910.120(a)(1)(i-v) and 1926.65(a)(1)(i-v). This course covers the topics required by employees who respond to releases or potental releases of hazardous substances as part of the inital response to the site for the purpose of protecting nearby persons, property, or the environment from effects of the release. They are trained to respond in a defensive fashion without actually trying to stop the release. |

| HAZWOPER 8-hr Refresher This course covers the topics required to meet the 29 CFR 1910.120 for eight hours of annual refresher training for workers who have already completed the 40- or 24-hour hazardous waste operations and emergency response training. |
