Certifying Body

The Occupational Safety Training Institute's courses are approved to meet the Occupational Safety Training and Certification Alliance certifications (OSTCA). OSTCA is governed by a 9 member Board of Directors with a diverse background in safety related disicplines and fields. The Board elects officers bi-annually in odd number years.

OSTCA strives to develop and maintain exemplary standards in the area of training and certification for safety professionals. It is their goal to make available quality and certified training and education.

The OSTCA has developed a unique process to achieve certification. OSTCA reviews applicants education, experience and training to determine levels of certification and if necessary recommends additional training or education to fulfill certification requirements.
