This informative course provides the student with the ability to describe the U.S. legal system role in the protection of the environment. Understand the various environmental regulatory requirements to include RCRA, CERCLA, CAA, SARA, and CWA. The student will be able to define and discuss environmental site assessments techniques, identify concepts for pollution prevention, identify the hazards and safety precautions for hazardous materials, knowledgeable understanding of emergency response and incident command.  The student will be able to demonstrate effective an environmental site assessment and know the importance of plans programs policies and procedures that are site specific to hazards identified.
