Students are provided with an introduction into OSHA and briefly introduced to OSHA’s General Industry Standards, 29 CFR 1910. Topics to be covered include: Walking and Working Surfaces including Fall Protection, Exit Routes, Fire Prevention and Protection, Electrical Safety, Personal Protective Equipment, Hazard Communication, Machine Guarding, Ergonomics, and Power Industrial Lift Trucks.
