Occupational Safety TrainerThis intensive 40-hour course provides a clear and concise explanation of the responsibilities concerning employee safety and the relative OSHA Standards. The purpose of this training course is to provide you with an overview of the basic knowledge and skills needed to become a successful safety trainer. Information relevant to planning, preparing, presenting, and evaluating classroom training is the foundation of this course. Students are designated as a Certified Occupational Safety Trainer (OST) at the conclusion of this course. Includes over $500.00 in resource materials. The objective of this course is to enable students to implement safety training programs that help improve productivity and decrease worksite incidents as well as to work safety on the jobsite. Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: implement adult training methodology in a safety training session. Discuss safety principles and apply OSHA 29 CFR 1910 standards within their organization; Subpart A, Subpart D, Subpart E, Subpart F, Subpart G, Subpart H, Subpart I, Subpart J .146, Subpart K, Subpart L, Subpart O, P, Q, and R.
