Safety Programs, Policies, and Procedures

Written safety programs, policies and procedures are a critical part of having an effective safety culture. This intensive 24-hour course provides a clear and concise explanation of developing a written site-specific safety program, policy, or procedure. The purpose of this training course is to provide you with an overview of the requirements of OSHA written programs.

The need for an effective Written Safety Program and Policies is discussed as well as the various activities required to comply with the program’s four major elements. Upon completion of the course, students will have developed an effective site-specific written program, policy or procedure, which will meet or exceed OSHA requirements.
